Jakarta, IO – Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin made it to the Round of 16 at the Indonesia Open 2023.

In the match that was held at Istora, Senayan, Tuesday (13/6), Fajar/Rian defeated Danish pair Jeppe Bay/Lasse in two straight games with the score of 21-15 and 21-11. Meanwhile, Leo/Daniel beat Japan’s Ayato Endo/Yuta Takei with the final score of 23-21, 8-21, 21-12.

In another match, Danish men’s singles top player Viktor Axelsen conquered China’s Weng Hong in two straight games with a score of 21-12, 21-8. At the same time, Japanese men’s singles shuttler Kento Momota lost to Hong Kong’s Long Angus Ng. The former world number one player was eliminated after losing two straight games with the score of 21-8, 21-15.
