Prabowo-Gibran Wins 421,000 votes cast overseas

Jakarta, IO – The General Elections Commission (KPU) has completed the recapitulation of votes cast by Indonesians overseas. Presidential pair No 2 Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka won by a landslide.

The vote count was taken from hundreds of overseas election committees (PPLN) across the world. The recapitulation was carried out from Wednesday (28/2) to Tuesday (4/3) evening, per CNN Indonesia, Wed (6/3).

Based on the recapitulation of 127 PPLNs, Prabowo-Gibran secured a total of 421,605 votes. In the second position is pair No 1, Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar with 120,085 votes, followed by pair No 3, Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD with 117,351 votes.

Prabowo-Gibran won big in Japan with almost 10,000 votes. The pair is also ahead in Asean region. In Singapore, they managed to garner 19,302 votes. (un)
