PPATK freezes bank account with billions of rupiah belonging to KAI employee suspected of terrorists

Jakarta, IO – There was new revelation with regard to the arrest of terrorist suspect DE in Bekasi.  The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) freezed the account with billions of rupiah belonging to the employee of state railway company PT KAI.

PPATK chairman Ivan Yustiavananda did not specify the exact amount. However, he confirmed that the banking data had been submitted to the National Police’s anti-terror unit Densus 88.

“We exercised our authority in accordance with Law 8/2010,” said Ivan, per Jawapos, Friday (18/8).
