IO – Kylie Jenner shared a social media requiem for NBA star Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others accompanying him, all of whom died in a helicopter crash.

The 22-year-old billionaire said she knew the pilot Ara Zobayan, and she could have been in that helicopter. Jenner used the following statement in her touching Instagram message, where she presented her condolences: “I still can’t believe it. This was the helicopter from time to time that I also flew with pilot Ara. He was such a good man …”

Jenner rented the same helicopter for her niece Dream’s third birthday in November. Kylie Jenner’s older brother, Rob Kardashian, shared this photo of his daughter taken in a helicopter on his Instagram account.

Basketball star Kobe Bryant, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others, was on the way to the basketball academy he founded. According to the Los Angeles police, foggy weather on the day of the accident was unsuitable for flight. A recording from the air control tower warned the pilot of the plane about this shortly before the accident.

On the other hand, it turned out that Bryant was practical and agreed with his wife Vanessa not to board the helicopter he used frequently together. Speaking to People magazine, an anonymous source in the Los Angeles Lakers close to the family said that Kobe Bryant knew he should not fly at the same time as his wife Vanessa. “This way, his wife Vanessa and their daughters Natalia (17), Bianka (3) and June Capri, born in 2019, were able to survive.” (rp)
