Indonesia is flooded with the euphoria of the 2023 U-17 World Cup, especially in the four host cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Solo and Surabaya. Indonesian youngsters and adolescents are entertained by the U-17 World Cup matches; some even watched them live at the stadium with their parents, teachers or coaches. 

The 2023 Indonesian National Wing Chun Championship was successfully held on 10-12 November at the Walisongo National Islamic University, Semarang. Indonesian Wing Chun athletes have shown excellent potential, especially after having won three consecutive general championships in the Wing Chun World Championship organized by the World Wing Chun Federation Ving Tsun Athletic Association (“VTAA”) in 2016, 2017, and the latest, in October 2022 in Hong Kong.

Since childhood, she has wanted to live a good life - in her case, meaning a life that is beneficial to as many people as possible. Therefore, she is expanding her reach by entering the political arena: she is putting herself up as a legislative candidate for the upcoming 2024 elections from the Democrat Party, i.e. for a seat in the Regional House of Representatives, for Number 5 Electoral Region of East Jakarta. This area covers the Districts of Jatinegara, Duren Sawit, and Kramat Jati.

Wahyu Gilang P. never gave up his interest in culinary delights – he’s a Garuda Indonesia pilot, since graduating from the Bali International Flight Academy (BIFA) in 2015. He appreciates the different local foods he can taste whenever he travels to different regions at home or abroad.

The city of Solo concluded the Trophy Tour of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup on Sunday, November 5th, marking Indonesia’s preparation for hosting the FIFA U-17 World Cup, from November 10th to December 2nd.
