Indonesia, New Zealand coordinate to tackle hostage situation in Papua
Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Mahfud MD conveyed the position of the Indonesian government regarding the burning of Susi Air plane and the hostage taking of its Kiwi pilot Philips Mark Mehrtens by the Papua armed criminal group (KKB) led by Egianus Kagoya. According to him, the governments of Indonesia and New Zealand are in coordination to free the hostage.
