Canberra, IO – During his visit to Australia to attend the 2+2 Meeting, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto took the time to meet with Indonesian students in Canberra.
Prabowo told them that they must make a good use of the scholarships provided by the Indonesian government and use the opportunities to study well.
“You have the privilege, the opportunity to study, many of you on scholarship funded by the Indonesian people. Study well so you can greatly benefit from it,” Prabowo advised.
He also urged them to return to Indonesia once they finished their study. “You must be determined to return to serve your nation and country. This is the main purpose,” he added.

According to Prabowo, scholarship recipients who study overseas must learn the right and positive things so they can have a positive impact once they return to Indonesia.
“You will return to your respective institutions. The hope is that you can carry out this responsibility and bring necessary improvements,” said Prabowo.
