IO, Singapore – Indonesia is now in mourning due to the death of Ani Yudhoyono, wife of Indonesia’s 6th president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
The news was conveyed by politicians from the Democratic party, Andi Arief. Ani Yudhoyono draw her last breath at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore.
“Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun. Mrs. Ani Yudhoyono has passed away at 11:50 Singapore time. Hopefully she died in Husnul Khotimah,” tweeted Andi Arief thru his official Twitter account on Saturday (1/6/2019).
Ani Yudhoyono’s death was caused by blood cancer, a disease that she just known and aware since last February at Singapore’s National University Hospital.
Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) expressed his gratitude for attention and grief that already addressed. Ani Yudhoyono died at the age of 67 while on an undergoing medical treatment due to her condition.
“I, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, and also representing the family of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono would like to express our deepest gratitude for the support given by our friends and of course the Indonesian people as well as the death of our beloved mother, “Mrs. Hj Kristiani Herrawati bint Sarwo Edhie Wibowo or Mrs. Ani Yudhoyono, at the age of 67 years,” AHY said in a press release that was continued by the Democratic Party Secretary General Rachland Nashidik on Saturday (1/6/2019).
according to AHY, Ani Yudhoyono, had struggled to fight cancer, from mid-February. In all acts of medical care, SBY and family, continued AHY, always accompanied. (dsy)
