General Manager of The Royale Krakatau Hotel, Rury Ilham, said that two restaurants in the area of ​​The Royale Krakatau Hotel, namely Surosowan and Kaibon, created special programs during the month of Ramadan.

“During Ramadan we prepared an Arabic Night package with a Middle Eastern concept. Not only the food but also the decoration is Middle Eastern style. In Surosowan the package during the month of Ramadan is IDR 228 thousand nett with a 5 percent discount on even dates and 10 percent on odd dates. “At Kaibon, we have prepared a special price, namely IDR 198 thousand nett. You can eat Middle Eastern dishes accompanied by jazz music,” said Rury.

Not just restaurants, said Rury, The Royale Krakatau Hotel also provides attractive promotions for meeting rooms. During Ramadan, the meeting room rate is IDR 250 thousand nett including takjil and snacks that can be taken home.

Apart from that, The Royale Krakatau Hotel also prepared a parcel package containing four types of dry cakes, namely nastar, snow princess, castangel and cookies at a price of IDR 350 thousand.

“Especially for Eid, we are preparing delivery, namely a food package for four people at a price of IDR 550 thousand. Last year, this package was one of the most ordered by customers. We made 50 delivery packages. “This year we are optimistic that demand for delivery packages will increase compared to last year,” said Rury.

Rury added that the first week of Ramadan and the last week of Ramadan usually don’t have too many customers. The peak usually occurs in the second and third weeks. Restaurant turnover, said Rury, usually jumps up to 30 percent.

Apart from that, The Royale Krakatau Hotel also usually starts to be flooded with venue orders for post-Eid weddings. Because of this, said Rury, The Royale Krakatau Hotel will hold a Wedding Festival on April 20-21.

Food and Beverage Manager of The Royale Krakatau Hotel Sandy Eka Hadiputra added that customers’ favorite foods ordered during fasting are kebuli rice and also mandi rice.

Apart from these two menus, said Sandy, the Surosowan restaurant is also preparing a new menu, namely a cheese burger which with drinks is sold for IDR 110 thousand. Then there is also beef lasagna which is The Surosowan’s new mainstay menu.
