Jakarta, IO – Coal miner PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk claims to receive windfall from the Russia-Ukraine war. As a result of the conflict, Adaro has received increased order from European Union countries.
Adaro Energy Indonesia president director Garibaldi Thohir said the ban imposed by the west on purchase of coal from Russia have made many EU countries diversify their supply chain. This has boosted Indonesia’s coal exports.

According to him, the supply shortage of coal from Russia and Europe has substantially driven up global coal prices.
