Jakarta, IO – The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has named Achsanul Qosasi, member of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), as a suspect in the procurement of 4G BTS towers by the Communications and Information Ministry (Kominfo). He was detained as the 16th suspect in the case.
“After carrying out an intensive investigation, the team found sufficient evidence to determine him as a suspect. After medical examination, he was being remanded at the Salemba Detention Center,” said Kuntadi, the director of investigation with the office of Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, per CNNIndonesia, Friday (3/11).
Achsanul was arrested on suspicion of receiving Rp40 billion at a hotel in Central Jakarta in July 2022. Kuntadi said Achsanul was charged with Article 12 (b, e) and article 5(1) in conjunction with article 15 of the Anti-Corruption Law and article 5 (1) of the Money Laundering Law.

“It is suspected that he received Rp40 billion from IH through SR and WP,” revealed Kuntadi. (bp)
