Jakarta, IO – After the success of The Sounds Project Volume 5 in 2022, drawing a total of 72,383 audience members, The Sounds Project & Co. as promoter is back with The Sounds Project Volume 6, premiering in mid-2023. To be specific, it will be held on the 11, 12 & 13 August 2023 at the Ecopark, Ancol, Jakarta.

Despite its being held at the same venue as last year, there are differences from its previous iteration. For one, The Sounds Project Volume 6 will be held for 3 days, with the underlying theme of “Heaven of Music”. Taking its cue from the heavenly natural backdrop of Ecopark Ancol, the Festival seeks to provide “Heaven” to all of the domestic and foreign music fans in attendance.

Starting out as a campus festival 2015, The Sounds Project has grown into a national event that attracts thousands every year. It is literally one of the most vigorously-growing festivals this decade. As with its previous iterations, it sticks to the mission and aspiration of bringing in well-curated domestic and foreign performers, with special surprises awaiting loyal music fans every year.

As part of its growth, The Sounds Project continuously regenerates its organizing personnel. This is in line with its mission to continuously involve the younger generation in the organization of quality music festivals. This is made possible by its internship and apprenticeship programs for all university students across Indonesia, where each apprentice has the opportunity to participate in the organization of the event according to their specific abilities and interests.
