Jakarta, IO – Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan officially launched a bazaar for packaged bulk cooking oil called MinyaKita at the Trade Ministry courtyard on Wednesday (6/7).
“I would like to inform my colleagues at the House Commission VI that tomorrow, an innovation named MinyaKita will be launched. It is a breakthrough by the Trade Ministry to distribute affordable cooking oil. The product has met the standards set by the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) and the Indonesian National Standard (SNI),” said Zulkifli.
He hoped the initiative will make it easier for people to access cooking oil and facilitate the distribution process across the country.
“We hope that this simple packaged cooking oil for the people can simplify the distribution process and arrive at the hands of consumers in a hygiene state. MinyaKita will be distributed through various retail partners of the Trade Ministry with the hope that it can be distributed evenly and sold at a uniform price of Rp14,000,” he explained.
