Jakarta, IO – For the third time, President Joko Widodo has directed the National Police Chief to immediately solve the case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat (Brigadier J) murder. He conveyed this through Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, as reported by Antara, Tuesday (9/8).
“The president has conveyed it clearly three times. Don’t cover up anything, solve the case transparently. That’s the president’s directive,” said Pramono Anung.
Pramono said President Jokowi does not wish to see the image of the police force tarnished in the eyes of the public.
So far, the National Police (Polri) has named two suspects, namely Bharada E who allegedly shot Brigadier J at the official residence of Police’s bureau of internal profession and security (Propam) chief Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Bharada E was charged with Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 (1a) in conjunction with Article 56 of the Penal Code on murder.
