Jakarta, IO – President Jokowi gave six directives to the General Elections Commission (KPU), including on budget/funding, facilities and infrastructure, and election workers for the 2024 elections.
KPU chairman Hasyim Asy’ari said Jokowi’s first directive is to fully support the implementation of the 2024 simultaneous presidential and legislative elections and regional elections scheduled for February 14, 2024.
“The president wants to ensure that the 2024 elections are carried out according to the schedule and on a regular five-year interval,” he said, as per www.presidenri.go.id on Monday (30/5).
