On Monday (11/6/2022), the Literature Talk surveyed Javanese Literature, with speakers Ir. Aman Yuriadijaya as the Regional Secretary of the City of Yogyakarta, M.M. and Paksi Raras Alit as the Curator of the Javanese Literature Exhibition. 

Ir. Aman Yuriadijaya, M.M. stated that Javanese literature is a series of aesthetically arranged language on a philosophy of life and values, when studied closely. Yogyakarta’s government provides space for all the people of Yogyakarta to promote literature. 

“Everyone in Yogyakarta is expected to unite in promoting Javanese literature and literature in general,” said Aman. 

Paksi Raras Alit, the Curator of the Yogyakarta Literary Festival, said the event manifested the contribution of the young generation in Yogyakarta in literary development. He urged youngsters to proudly speak Javanese. “Don’t be ashamed to go local and speak the local language,” said Paksi.
