Bogor, IO – Passengers board electric-based urban public transportation at the Cidangiang bus stop, Bogor City, West Java. The Bogor City government is conducting a trial run of five Bogor electric public transportation units (Alibo) for the next three months until July 3.

During the trial period, this public transportation, billed as the first electric public transportation in Indonesia, only covered 13 km and 30 stops, which took about 45 minutes to 1 hour. To use this public transportation, passengers need to fork out Rp5,000 per trip, with non-cash payment.

It serves the route from Cidangiang bus stop, Kujang Monument, Jalan Surya Kencana, Jalan MP Sidik, Jalan Pahlawan, Jalan Djuanda, to Jalan Jalak Harupat. To ensure passenger safety, Alibo ride and position are monitored by the Bogor Transportation Department and the operator via CCTV and GPS.
