Being in front of the Indonesian fans is an incredible experience for Westlife. “That is so great to be back here, guys. It is so great to feel the love that you guys give every time we come to Indonesia. Thank you so much. We love you guys,” added Kian.
Shane also expressed his happiness upon seeing their Indonesian fans again. “I am very happy to be back with fans in Indonesia. Thank you very much. We have visited Indonesia several times in the last 22 years. It’s been an amazing journey,” he said.
Mark’s comeback
This concert also marked Mark’s return to the band and to the stage after he announced on his Instagram account @markusmoments in November 2022 that he would not be joining Westlife’s World Tour series, so he could concentrate on recovering from a case of pneumonia, with proper treatment.
“Until then, Nicky, Shane, and Kian will continue to fly the Westlife fag high for all of us. Please, scream even louder than usual for those three legends in my absence,” wrote Mark.
Everyone was glad about Mark’s recovery. “We want to say a big welcome to Mark; please give it up for Mr. Mark Feehily, everybody! Mark, it is good to have you back!” expressed Nick on stage following the song “Mandy.” Mark was no less joyful, thanking the audience for waiting.
To celebrate Mark’s comeback, Nick requested the audience to light their phones’ flashlights. “Here we go, in the count of three, I need you to say, ‘Welcome back, Mark’, and then Mark’s gonna walk out and dance, ready?” said Nick and responded by the fans’ giggles. So, everyone did. “Welcome back, Mark!”
