Jakarta, IO – After a long hiatus, Bandung band Tahta is back on the scene. This month, they have selected their old hit, “Aku Masih Di Sini” (“I’m Still Here”) as their comeback “remake single”. This is also a nod to the CS Tahta, their loyal fans, that they still exist. After all, the song remains highlighted on various digital platforms since its 2006 debut.

“Aku Masih Disini” was the rep-D resentative single of the band’s first album, Tempat Yang Paling Indah (“The Most Beautiful Place”). The original video clip was shot in an airport, and it tells the narrative of a man who patiently waits for his lady love to return. In the 2023 version, Tahta finally showed the ending that we all hope for – the lady finally returns to the man faithfully waiting for her for so long.

Originally called “Kanaya” when it was first created on 18 April 2004, now Tahta is back in 2023 with Phewe (vocals), Brems (guihtar), Adit (bass), and Mahe (drums) making up the current group. The packaging for the “Aku Masih Disini” remake single is a throwback to the 2006 album, which contains Tahta’s pop music. There are, however, changes to Tahta itself – including its personnel, age, and style.
