Jakarta, IO – The electability of the presidential and vice-presidential candidate No 2, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka has now breached 50 percent (52.9 percent to be exact). This means that they have crossed the threshold to win the presidential election without having to go into the runoff.
This was revealed by pollster Point Indonesia in its latest survey whose results were announced on Wednesday (31/1).
“Prabowo-Gibran is at the top with voting intention share of 52.9 percent, followed by Anies-Muhaimin with 22.7 percent and Ganjar-Mahfud with 19.1 percent,” said Point Indonesia CEO Karel Haryo Susetyo.
“Based on this data, it is highly likely that the presidential election will be concluded in just one round with the victory of Prabowo-Gibran.”
