Jakarta, IO – Transportation Ministry (Kemenhub) issued new railway regulations for short and long haul via Circular 72/2022 on guidelines for the implementation of domestic travel by railway during the Covid-19 pandemic signed by the Director General of Railways Zulfikri.

The new regulation will take effect on July 17 until determined otherwise and will be evaluated as necessary, Detik reported on Monday (11/7).

The new regulations for taking long-distance trains are mandatory third dose (booster) vaccination; negative RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test are no longer required.

Second, those who are double-jabbed must show a negative Rapid Test Antigen result 1 x 24 hours or a negative RT-PCR test result 3 x 24 hours prior to departure.
