Indonesian Consulate General (KJRI) in Houston is in the process of repatriating Novita’s body. She is known to be a resident of Semarang, Central Java.
In a meeting with Texas Secretary of State John B Scott, KJRI requested the administrative process to be expedited, including the issuance of death certificate by relevant agencies.
