Jakarta, IO – Some of the demonstrators protesting around the Horse Statue near the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, dispersed as rain began to fall.
The protesters had gathered around the area since 1 pm, with the majority of them from the Islamic Students Association (HMI).

Other groups including housewives also joined the protest under the cloudy sky. Around 4 pm, rumble could be heard as rain began to fall, breaking up the protesters as they seek for shelters including under a police post across the Horse Statue. Some did not care and continue giving political speeches while holding umbrellas.
