Jakarta, IO – Hundreds of demonstrators packed the Horse Statue area, Central Jakarta, Monday (11/4). Not only students, there were also labour unions and other societal groups.
They voiced the same aspiration: to demand Jokowi to reject the three-term presidency discourse and urge the government to stabilize the soaring prices of basic foodstuffs.

One of the groups was the Aliansi Rakyat Menggugat (ARM), which consisted of husbands and housewives. They asked Jokowi to step down if he did not immediately comply with the protesters’ demands.
