Jakarta, IO – Get ready! IL DIVO is Back! ConcertKita is presenting IL DIVO, a multi-national classical music vocal ensemble, on the 2023 “A New Day Tour” Concert on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the JIExpo Theatre, Kemayoran, Jakarta, with Lesti Kejora being confirmed to collaborate with the vocal group and enliven the concert.
The male quartet consists of tenors Urs Buhler, David Miller and Sebastien Izambard, with Steven Labrie as a special guest vocalist to replace Carlos Marin, the baritone, who died of COVID-19 in December 2021.
Wisanggeni Basuki, CEO of ConcertKita, said that 2023 had been the year of the entertainment industry’s revival, particularly music concerts, with many concerts thriving and being held in many places across Indonesia as the COVID-19 pandemic subsided. Classical music concerts, on the other hand, are still rarely performed.
“That is why we are so pleased to bring IL DIVO back to Jakarta, which is not by the way their first visit to the city. This time around they include Indonesia on their 2023 Asia Tour, and we wish to fulfill IL DIVO supporters’ longing for classical music concerts by presenting IL DIVO’s upclose and personal spectacular performance,” said Wisang.
The concert will take place in the largest theater with the best sound system, the JIExpo Theater in Kemayoran, Jakarta, which is ideal for classical music performances. “It will be magnificent!” promised Wisang.

IL DIVO is planning to collaborate with Lesti Kejora, an Indonesian dangdut sweetheart and diva. “Performing Lesti Kejora would show the Indonesian public that classical music symphonizes well with other musical genres, including dangdut. This concert will be incredible,” Wisang was convinced.
Lesti Kejora did not expect to have the opportunity to perform with IL DIVO. The August-born singer will not miss this offer. “I am challenged by the offer given by ConcertKita to collaborate and appear on the same stage with IL DIVO, as we don’t share the same music genres,” explained Lesli enthusiastically.
