Jakarta, IO – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Mitchell & Ness announced a new NBA capsule collection, in collaboration with NBA global ambassador and BTS star SUGA.
The South Korean rapper, songwriter and producer also provided creative inputs and concepts on the apparel line, featuring t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, shorts, and headwear across six NBA teams: Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks.
The six teams were selected based on the cities where SUGA performed on his solo world tour SUGA | Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’. The SUGA’s Agust D moniker can be seen on the new SUGA x NBA capsule collection by Mitchell & Ness, showing his close relationship with the basketball association and showcasing several design motifs inspired by the D-DAY album.
The collection will be available at select offline and online NBA Stores, Mitchell & Ness stores, and the Weverse Shop in the coming weeks. Anyone interested in the collection can visit the website www.nba.com/SUGAxNBA to register with an NBA ID and gain access to information for their first purchase.

Last September, SUGA attended the NBA Japan Games 2022, featuring the Golden State Warriors versus the Washington Wizards in two pre-season games. He sat courtside and posted some behind-the-scenes on his social media, including meet-and-greets with NBA players and legends. SUGA was also seen attending the regular-season game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan 12, 2023, and Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks on Apr 30, 2023. He also participated in the 2023 NBA Finals campaign, “We Are All in the Finals”.

SUGA (Yunki, Min) is a rapper, songwriter, music producer and a member of the 21st Century South Korea’s pop icon, BTS. He is world-renowned for his record-producing skills, strong musical philosophy and consistent breakthroughs through his multifaceted works on BTS albums, solo projects and collaborations with other artists.
Since their 2014 Skool Luv Affair, BTS albums have included songs produced by SUGA. Through a mixtape under the stage name Agust D, SUGA also shares his vision as an artist. He has featured and collaborated with many international artists by creating music for major artists around the globe. (rp)
