Jakarta, IO – Onward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto emphasized that the people must stay united to protect the Indonesian state, regardless of the winner of the 2024 presidential election.
“My fellow citizens, whoever wins, we must unite to protect this country,” said Prabowo in his speech at the drawing of the ballot numbers at the office of the General Elections Commission (KPU), Tuesday (14/11).
On that occasion, Prabowo said all Indonesians should be proud because Indonesia is the third largest democratic country in the world. He expressed his gratitude that Indonesia is still intact even after going through many elections.
“We have had general elections, period after period, and we are grateful that our country is still intact, still united, even though there are so many challenges we are facing,” said Prabowo.
According to him, even though there are three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates running for the top office, the situation leading to the election is still cordial.

“I am grateful and happy, today’s atmosphere is full of familyhood, joy, mutual love and support,” said Prabowo.
The result of the draw designated Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar as candidate pair number 1 on the ballot, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2 and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.
