Alhamdulillah, praised be Allah, the living standards of our people continue to thrive. This is all because of trusted cooperation between the people and all officials – Government Agency staff, the military, the police, and Regional Government staff, to protect our realm’s security,” Prabowo said. “We must all continue to cooperate in protecting and developing our nation. Remember that our defense system is the universal defense system (sistem pertahanan keamanan rakyat semesta – ‘Sishankamrata’). We are one nation, and all citizens are responsible for the defense of our people and realm.”

Prabowo went on to remind everyone that sincere cooperation will accelerate the recovery of our economy: “It is a shared responsibility of all, to maintain the peace and security of our country, in order to accelerate the recovery of our economy and achieve overall prosperity,” he said.

Minister Prabowo’s concern for the people has perpetually earned him their respect – as well as that of his former rival, President Joko Widodo. During the recent General Convention of President Jokowi Volunteers XI in Lampung, he won the strongest support for the upcoming presidency from participants: “Of the total of 1,863 votes counted, Prabowo Subianto won by a landslide at 541 votes, or 29%. Right under him, the current Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo with 378 votes (20%), and the current Speaker of the RI House of Representatives Puan Maharani at 362 votes (19%),” reported Convention Chairman Faisol Sanjay as quoted in Detik. (rp)
