Jakarta, IO – That’s right, folks! British rock band Neck Deep proudly announce their return, with a monumental tour that will take them through 7 cities in Southeast Asia, including Surabaya and Jakarta.
Promoter Otello Asia added the icing to this cake by announcing that two lively Indonesian rock bands, Pee Wee Gaskins and Summerlane, as Special Guest Stars in Neck Deep’s upcoming “Live in Australia and Asia 2023” concert (Grand City, Surabaya, 15 September 2023 and Mahaka Square, Jakarta, 16 September 2023), respectively.
The tour announcement was made right on the heel of the release of Neck Deep’s energetic single, “Take Me With You”, through Hopeless Records on 11 August 2023. It is the band’s second hit of the year after the anthemic “Heartbreak of the Century” in March. “We are really happy to be able to return to Australia and Asia! We can’t wait to see you all in September,” the band declared in their official statement.
For the past decade, Neck Deep – Ben Barlow (vocals), Matt West (guitar), Sam Bowden (guitar), and Seb Barlow (bass) – has reigned over the hit parade in their native UK and abroad. They have sold hundreds of thousands of records and concert tickets, been photographed for magazine covers across the world, and have toured alongside the biggest names in the music industry.
Their fourth album, All Distortions Are Intentional, has sold more than 20,000 copies and 20 million people are streaming it from across the world to date. It has dominated the Billboard Top Album list and has reached #2 on the Alternative, Rock, Independent, and Internet Album list since its release in 2020. In 2022, the band created multiple viral moments in TikTok with their song “December”. In fact, Rosé of the popular Korean girl band Blackpink covered this song.
