Jakarta, IO – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo stressed that there are no problems in his administration after Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs who is also a vice-presidential candidate Mahfud MD resigned.
Jokowi said the ministers are still working as usual, per Republika, Fri (2/2). “I am also working as usual, attending various meetings in Jakarta and in the regions, including the invitation from GP Anshor [Nahdlatul Ulama youth wing organization] to attend their 16th congress this morning,” he said.
Jokowi reiterated that political differences are a form of democracy. Therefore, according to him, the resignation did not have to be exaggerated as it is a personal right.

Previously, Mahfud MD after meeting the president at the Office of the President on Thursday (1/2) said that all ministers in the Indonesia Onward Cabinet remained solid despite his resignation.
According to him, the government was able to manage cabinet solidity amidst rumours that several ministers planned to resign. (at)
