Jakarta, IO – The Indonesian Photojournalist Jakarta Association (PFIJ) held a photo exhibition themed “Rekam Jakarta 24+”, scheduled from October 28-November 6 at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta.
In his opening remarks, the director of the exhibition, Muhammad Hidayat, said the event, which is open to the public, will feature a variety of activities including showcasing photo works, exhibitions and publication of journalistic photo books, recognizing the role of PFIJ, to discussions about photography.
“This is an annual activity of PFIJ as a forum for appreciation for members of the organization in producing works that are presented in the form of photo exhibitions and various related events,” said Hidayat.
This theme this year reflects the efforts of the City of Jakarta and its residents in returning to normal life and adapting to the still ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
