After graduating from SMAN 2 Bogor, Angkie then continued her studies at the London School of Public Relations, Jakarta, majoring in Communication Studies.
Then in 2008, Angkie Yudistia was lined up to be one of the finalists for Abang None Jakarta. In the same year, she was lined up as “The Most Fearless Female Cosmopolitan 2008”.

She wrote a book called Deaf Women, Through Boundaries. She also works with GoJek Indonesia to employ people with disabilities at Go-Auto and Go-Glam. In 2019, she was appointed as Special Staff to President Joko Widodo.
Angkie’s life story was adapted into a web series with the title Gesture by Bobby Prasetyo which aired on Maxstream on December 19, 2019, where Angkie is played by Tissa Biani. (rp)
