Jakarta, IO – President Joko Widodo’s motorcade was again blocked by eager residents during his visit to Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, Wednesday (28/12), reported Kompas.
Presidential Secretariat’s Press, Protocol and Media deputy Bey Machmudin said the incident happened when Jokowi was heading to the hotel from Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport.
“On the way to the hotel from the airport, a number of residents stopped the President’s motorcade because they wanted to greet President Jokowi,” said Bey.
Jokowi then asked the Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres) to stop the car because he also wanted to greet residents.
“After shaking hands and taking selfies with the President, the residents moved to the side,” said Bey.
