This is no the first time that Jokowi’s entourage was “disrupted” by enthusiastic residents. On November 17, a woman managed to approach him on Thamrin St., Denpasar, Bali. At that time, President Jokowi’s motorcade was moving at a low speed on the highway. Jokowi opened the car window to distribute T-shirts to residents standing on the side of the road. Suddenly, a woman was seen walking into the president’s car and tried to shake hands with Jokowi.
The woman put her hand inside through the car window, right where President Jokowi sits. Paspampres guard immediately stopped the woman. A number of personnel tried to pull her away. In a video, Jokowi could be heard asking the security service personnel not to be excessive.
