Jakarta, IO – Finance Minister said the economic crisis fuelled by the Covid-19 pandemic is over. Thus, the management of state budget (APBN) will revert to normality.
“The joint decree (SKB) between the government and Bank Indonesia (BI) will end this year because the crisis situation caused by the pandemic has ended,” said Sri Mulyani, reported CNBC Indonesia, Tuesday (20/12).
She ensured that the SKB, established in 2020, would no longer be in effect as the economic recovery continues.
“Therefore, in order to maintain the independence of BI and reliable macro-fiscal monetary integrity, we will return to normal conditions, independent of the state budget and BI,” she said.
