Educational psychologist Indah Sundari Jayanti, MPsi, explained that the prevalence of unprotected sexual activity that may involve multiple partners should be highlighted in the findings.
She also urged that public education be intensified as many people are still unaware about the exposure risks to HIV.
“When we talk about HIV, one of the main causes is unhealthy or unsafe sexual activity such as individuals with multiple sexual partners. This means that what we need to focus on sexual safety,” she said.

“That many educated individuals like students who ideally should know better still underestimate the importance of sexual safety should be of particular concern.” (rr)
