Surabaya, IO – The Ichiro robotic team from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) won 13 awards at the annual FIRA Humanoid Robot Cup (HuroCup) on Tuesday (23/8).
Team leader Muhammad Afdhil Islammy said the competition, held by the Federation of International Robot Sport Association (FIRA), focuses on the development of humanoid robots designed to perform complex movements.
This year is Ichiro team’s seventh participation. Since 2016, it has continued to elevate the country’s international profile in the robotic field. “When we first participated in 2016, we won 10 awards,” said Afdhil.
