Jakarta, IO – Rosan Roeslani, chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran campaign, said that Khofifah Indar Parawansa has been officially appointed as the steering committee and national campaign official.
Rosan revealed that he had just signed the decision letter regarding Khofifah’s appointment on Wednesday (10/1).
He also revealed that Khofifah offered to join the team to help Prabowo’s presidential bid and is appreciative of her decision because of her strategic position as the governor of East Java. Khofifah is also said to be taking leave so she can participate in several public rallies scheduled to take place soon.

“She is going to campaign with us to help Prabowo and Gibran win the election,” he said.
Rosan assesses that Khofifah’s influence is very broad because she is also the chairwoman of the women’s wing of the largest Muslim organization in the country, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). The campaign is confident that Prabowo-Gibran can garner 65 percent of the votes in East Java.
