Jakarta’s human development index improves

Jakarta, IO – A number of students are working on remedial assignments at SMA Negeri 35 state senior high school, Jakarta, Monday (5/12).

The Jakarta office of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) noted that the city’s Human Development Index (HDI) in 2022 was 81.65 (0.67 percent higher than last year). This increase is reflected in the dimension of a long and healthy life as measured by life expectancy at birth which increased by 0.42 percent. The second dimension, knowledge, as measured by years of schooling was up by 0.08 percent while expected years of schooling increased by 1.25 percent. Meanwhile, the dimension of a standard of living as measured by GNI per capita in PPP term in US dollar also climbed by 2.2 percent. (Septo Kun Wijaya)
