Jakarta, IO – Sihar Sitorus, House Committee XI member of PDI-P fraction, asked the government to review the export ban on cooking oil raw materials as the policy will adversely impact 2.67 million oil palm farmers in Indonesia.
“Given the risks posed to the national palm oil industry, President Jokowi should reconsider the policy,” said Sihar in a written statement, Wednesday (18/5).
