AGO names new suspect in cooking oil corruption probe

Jakarta, IO – The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has again named one suspect in a corruption case related to the provision of crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities at the Trade Ministry. The new suspect is Lin Che Wei (LCW) a.k.a Weibinanto Halimdjati.

AGO spokesperson Ketut Sumedana revealed that the Lin, a known economic observer, was designated a suspect on May 17. His status is stated in the letter TAP-22/F.2/Fd.2/05/2022 issued by AGO’s junior attorney for special crimes (Jampidsus).

Lin, member of the Coordinating Economic Ministry’s expert team has been detained.
