Jakarta, IO – The Royal Raya Runway (“RFF”) is a fashion show created by a collaboration between Sarinah Mall and the Indonesia Modest Fashion Designer (“IMFD”). It features the latest collections of local and international “modest fashion” designers.

Of the many brands and designers featured at the show, one of the most attractive is Cara Scarves. With their fresh ideas, they had a brilliant debut at the Royal Raya Runway on 8 April 2023. It is a new brand of modest clothing, established in late 2022 by sisters Gusti Ayu as CEO and Listya Nura as Creative Director.

Inspired by the exotic beauty of Indonesian native flowers, Cara Scarves showed 8 sets in their first collection of dresses made with handmade hijab embroidery at the Royal Raya Runway. The brand’s models and muses superbly presented the collection, titled “Dreamy Flower Garden.”

In her talk with the Independent Observer, Ayu claims that the Muslim clothing business has bright prospects, both in Indonesia and abroad. This is because the market is a huge one – it allows brand owners to determine their distinct marketing directions.

“Each of our products is created with close attention to detail. We include delicate, complex work provided by local micro, small, and medium-sized businesses. This means that when you buy our products, you will both get exclusive design and help these local small businesses,” she said.

“Furthermore, I think what made us different is that we sourced premium-quality fabrics for our collection. We’re not just a pretty design – we are comfortable for daily wear, and that’s our core value,” Nura added.

Despite the brand’s premium quality, Cara Scarves Couture collections are available at the friendly prices of IDR 399K and up for hijabs, and IDR 1,999K and up for tops and blouses. They hope that by showcasing the beauty of blooming Indonesian flowers in their design, they can bloom the business just as beautifully. “It was an amazing opportunity and a privilege to be able to showcase Cara Scarves debut Collection at Royal Raya Runway,” said Ayu. “We dream big, and always stay ambitious, never giving up on our dream – and believe we can be a rising brand in the near future,” Nura declared.
