Jakarta, IO – Dozens of residents took part in the free tattoo removal program at the Central Jakarta Mayor’s Office, Tuesday (26/3). This annual program during Ramadan is organized by Jakarta Alms Agency (Bazis) conducted alternately at five mayoral offices, targeting a total of 600 people.
In the tattoo removal process, participants must undergo a series of health examination in the form of blood checks to detect blood sugar, hepatitis B and C, and even HIV. After that, participants will be called by officers for a consultation with a physician before proceeding to the next stage.

The participants consisted of people from both sexes, from teenagers to the elderly. The tattoo removal was conducted using a laser machine operated by health workers. The number of participants in the Central Jakarta Mayor’s office was 92, from a quota of 100.
