Chronology of corruption case in the procurement of AW-101 helicopter being probed by KPK

Jakarta, IO – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate the corruption case in the procurement of the Agusta Westland 101 (AW-101) transport helicopter even though investigation into the suspects from the Indonesian Air Force has been suspended.

KPK chairman Firli Bahuri said the graft buster had detained a suspect named Irfan Kurnia Saleh (IKS) a.k.a Jhon Irfan Kenway from the private sector on Tuesday (24/5). Irfan is said to be Director of PT Diratama Jaya Mandiri (DJM) and controlling shareholder of PT Karsa Cipta Gemilang (KCG), as per Detik, Wednesday (25/5).

“After investigators examined about 30 witnesses and for the purpose of the investigation, the investigative team forcibly detain IKS for 20 days starting from May 24 to June 12 at the KPK Detention Center,” said Firli.
