Jakarta, IO – The mothers living in Kober Lubang Buaya alley, East Jakarta, did not want to miss participating in the celebration of the 77th Indonesian Independence Day anniversary.
Wanting to show something unique, the middle-age women took part in a futsal competition not wearing sportswear, but daster (house dress). This unusual choice of dress of course made the atmosphere even more joyful.
According to historian JJ Rizal, competitions to celebrate the August 17 have been held since the fifth Independence Day commemoration in 1950. (Dumaz Artadi)
