Jakarta, IO – Thousands of Christians attend the Christmas prayer service organized by the Indonesian Tiberias Church (GTI) at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Jakarta (8/12).
The annual event was attended by around 200 members of the congregations in Jakarta and the church’s branches across Indonesia. It consisted of series of activities such as holy communion, Christmas candle celebrations, Christmas worship praise, as well as testimonies from church members.

The sound of cheers and applause echoed from every corner of the gigantic stadium, amplifying the festive atmosphere. The Tiberias Church Christmas service starts from today from 6pm to 11pm WIB. The theme of this year’s celebration is taken from the verse John 1:12, which reads “But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”
