“Instead of looking for solutions in tackling the economic crisis that is choking the people on a daily basis, the government flirts with the oligarchic elite and rolled out a series of political policies hatched from sinister conspiration neatly consolidated from the start,” said Rahmatullah, a field coordinator.
According to him, the increase in fuel price, basic necessities, VAT, cooking oil shortage and other policies were deliberately forced on the people.
“Additionally, the discourse coming from the Palace to extend presidential term to three terms, under the pretext that the state’s coffers are insufficient to fund the once-in-five-year democratic agenda,” he said.
