“This is totally wrong and misleading because the Finance Ministry has calculated DBH based on data from the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry,” he explained.

He emphasized that the funds are not solely for the producing regions, but also the surrounding areas to achieve common prosperity. The Finance Ministry, according to Prastowo, has even allocated Rp872 billion for regional transfers and village funds in 2022, which is equivalent to 75 percent of the Meranti regency’s regional budget (APBD).
“Therefore, Muhammad Adil should immediately make public apology and give clarification so the public is not misled by the statement,” said Prastowo. (un)
