The Indonesian Consulate General confirmed that the body of the victim would be repatriated to the country.
“Currently, the Indonesian Consulate General is in the process of repatriating Novita’s body to Indonesia according to the request of her family in Indonesia. The consul general, Andre Omer Siregar, has met with the Texas secretary of state in Austin to expedite the process,” explained Kamal.
