Kristo Immanuel, Content creator, actor, impersonation performer and comedian
Jakarta, IO – Kristo Immanuel was ecstatic to reach the finish line in Planet Sports Run: Run Your Way Town To Town, held on Sunday (Dec 10) at Bumi Serpong Damai, Tangerang.
“Today was super exciting. I really enjoyed the run,” said Kristo, a lifestyle runner, also a content creator, actor, impersonation performer and comedian.
Kristo has interviewed international actors and artists who have starred in movies or Netflix series – a feat to be proud of. He also interviewed and impersonated the star of Extraction 2, Chris Hemsworth.
Kristo gained recognition as an “impersonation performer” in 2019. He learned to imitate the expressions and voices of famous cartoon characters in sixth grade. Because of his unique talent, people started to recognize him, and he got invited to a popular TV program, Hitam Putih. After that, Kristo’s name soared, and he became more famous.
Kristo has tried acting, having been cast in a role in Netflix’s musical drama Pensi (2021) with other Indonesian influencers. He also created a mini series starring himself, available on YouTube.
Kristo’s impersonation abilities allowed him to impersonate President Soeharto through a voice-over in the movie Susi Susanti: Love All (2019). Kristo also starred in Netflix’s movie Big 4, a comedy action directed by Timo Tjahjanto. In Big 4, Kristo played with Abimana Aryasatya, Putri Marino, Lutesha and Arie Kriting. Not only was his role in the movie well-received, but the movie also became popular on Netflix a few weeks after it aired in 2022. Kristo also starred in two other movies, Star Syndrome and 24 Hours with Gaspar, which will be shown on the screen in 2023.
His acting career also includes a role as Tony in the movie Teka Teki Tika (2021), in which he also accompanied Ernest Prakasa as assistant director.
In Planet Sports Run, Kristo was featured as one of New Balance Running Heroes. “Today, I wear the Fuelcell Supercomp Elite v3, which is light and breathable and has a soft midsole. Even though I run long distances, my feet remain comfortable and don’t sweat easily,” he said.
Other New Balance Running Heroes who took part in the Planet Sports Run include active running enthusiast Daniel Mananta and national athlete Triyaningsih. At the event, New Balance also allowed runners to try on shoes and provided them with refreshments and a quick hair wash.
The running event marked the final round of Planet Sports Run’s Run Your Way Town To Town. “Previously, we presented a running program themed Run Your Way Town to Town with local running communities and New Balance Run Club (NBRC) in four cities: Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bandung and Jakarta . It concludes with the Planet Sports Run. This year, New Balance is participating once again by holding exciting activities and inviting runners to try on the innovative footwear technology, Fuelcell,” said Martina Harianda Mutis, the General Manager of Brand Marketing Sports MAP Active.

The event’s unique concept also allowed participants to collect points from the moment they register, take part in engaging missions given before and during the event and run in race categories of 5K, 10K and 21K (half marathon).
